I've walked down Marylebone High Street many times, and had heard vicious rumours that there was a excellent travel book shop on it, but had never seen it.
There is a extremely helpful map on the High Street which tells you where every shop is on the road - number 83 is Daunt Books.
As I walked in it seemed really crowded, and looking around the front section of the shop, it seemed to be filled with fiction/non-fiction books, however when I looked through to the back I was absolutely delighted to see a lovely large and long old room (Edwardian) filled with travel books.(see photo)
What I particularly liked was how they had organised it - the main room was Europe, and each country had its own section. For each country you not only have the usual travel guides and language packs, but also literature (fiction and non) relating to the country or a particular town or city. I looked in the Italy section (which was vast) and there were some fantastic books that I had never seen before - books about the mafia (which my father would love), lots of novels set in Italy, cookery books, italian football (which my father would love) and many more that I can't remember.
I didn't go upstairs but that was where all the books about UK and Ireland etc. are, and downstairs was America, Asia & Africa.
A fantastic bookshop and I'm looking forward to going back.

yeah I love Daunts!
